Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Poolside North Shore handles personal information. We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its 13 Information Privacy Principles.

1. What we collect

We collect very little. If you email us or use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We also collect standard, mostly anonymised analytics data (pages visited, device type, approximate region, referring site) through cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.

2. Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiries, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and to measure the performance of affiliate links. We do not collect gambling account details, payment information or identity documents — those stay between you and the operator.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We use reputable third-party processors (for example, website hosting and analytics providers) who process data on our behalf. When you click an affiliate link, the operator and affiliate network may set their own tracking and will handle any data you then provide to them under their own privacy policies.

4. Storage & security

We take reasonable steps to protect information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Data may be stored on servers outside New Zealand; where it is, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection.

5. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@poolsidenorthshore.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).

6. Children

The site is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
