About Poolside North Shore

Poolside North Shore is an independent New Zealand gambling comparison site. We compare international online casino, sportsbook and crypto casino records from a New Zealand perspective, with guides to eligibility, offers, game rules and payment checks.

We are not a casino or a bookmaker. We do not take bets or hold player funds. Our mission

New Zealand's online gambling market is almost entirely offshore, opaque and changing fast — the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 is introducing a licensed regime from 2027, and online sports betting became a TAB NZ monopoly in 2025. Our job is to cut through that: to tell you plainly where the law sits for each vertical, how to check withdrawal conditions and calculate the requirements attached to a bonus.

How we review — our methodology

The current comparison positions follow the supplied editorial lineup. Displayed scores are derived from those positions and are not independently measured ratings. The 27 October 2026 content update adds practical guides and source checks; it does not establish fresh deposit tests, timed withdrawals or current eligibility for every operator.

• Offer evidence — distinguish NZ-denominated offers from dated indicative conversions, separate products and deposit stages, and label unresolved terms.
• Payments — explain verification, approval, delivery, fees and limits as separate checks. Account-specific cashier evidence is needed to establish current figures.
• Games and markets — compare exact rules and settlement conditions, using clearly labelled illustrative calculations.
• Licensing and eligibility — distinguish an overseas licence, a New Zealand application and an approved domain. Link current primary guidance where relevant.
